Return Policy
Guidelines 📝
Regular-priced items must be returned within 21 days of receiving your order. All products must be unused, unworn, and in mint condition, with original tags attached, original packaging, and any included warranty cards. No exceptions.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping and handling costs. The only exception is if we have sent the wrong product, colour, or quantity, in which case we will cover the return shipping.
Please note that all sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.
Exchanges 🔄
We do not process direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, you can return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order separately. We recommend placing your new order as soon as possible to ensure availability.
You are responsible for all shipping fees, when sending back an item for exchange.
How to Return an Item 📦
To begin a return, contact us to receive a Return Authorization Number. Once approved, package your item securely with all original tags and send it to:

For returns within Canada, please ship using insured, prepaid regular parcel service through Canada Post. For returns from the United States, packages must be sent via USPS using insured surface mail. We are unable to accept returns sent through other carriers or any COD shipments.
When returning from the US, please indicate on the customs form that the item is a “Returned Defective Item” and include your order number on the shipping label.
For international returns outside of Canada and the US, please email us at info@mountainbaby.com and we will guide you through the best return process.
Important Return Notes 🛍️
We strongly recommend insuring your return shipment, as this allows you to track your parcel. We cannot be responsible for lost or uninsured returns.
We are unable to accept courier deliveries, including UPS and FedEx, as these services often include additional brokerage and duty fees.
Incorrect Shipping Address 📍
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees will be required to resend the order.
Sizing Information 👕
To help minimize returns, we encourage you to carefully review sizing charts before purchasing. We provide as much guidance as possible to help you choose the right fit.
For children’s clothing, it is often best to size slightly larger, as kids grow quickly and seasonal items are meant to last throughout the season. Our products are designed with durability in mind and are made to be worn and enjoyed over time.
Warranty Information 📋
If your item has a manufacturer’s defect or an issue with construction or assembly, there are two options depending on timing.
If the item was purchased within 30 days, please contact us with a description and photos of the issue. If the defect is covered under warranty, we will offer a replacement or store credit. This is handled on a case-by-case basis, and availability of replacement items may vary.
If the issue occurs after 30 days, you will need to contact the product’s manufacturer directly. Many of the brands we carry offer extended warranties but require customers to initiate the claim.
