This is the life jacket (PFD) everyone has been dreaming about. The Salus Bijoux Baby Life Jacket fills a real void in the water safety product line; it is made specifically for infants from 9-25 lbs. Designed conscientiously for babies top-heavy bodies, this vest will allow you to safely take your wee ones for a swim or out on the water.
The Salus Bijoux Baby Life Jacket is not a scaled-down adult PFD. It is constructed specifically for babies' top/head-heavy body structure and takes into account the real way an infants's body would behave in the water. Its one-piece front design absolutely ensures that the baby will turn face up when in the water.
The Bijoux is not an approved PFD, simply because there is no approval for types meant for users under 20 lbs. However, Transport Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard recognize the Bijoux as an appropriate safety device for infants under 20 lbs.
USCG recommends: "if an infant (below 20lbs) is onboard a recreational boat, there must be an infant Type II personal flotation device (PFD) available for that individual. You must be sure you know the PFD you have works for your infant. Otherwise we recommend the child not be exposed to any risk in a boat on the water."

Orders ship Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. If changes are needed, contact us quickly as orders are processed fast.
3. Canadian Shipping
Flat rate $15 shipping across Canada, with free shipping on regular weight orders over $100. Heavy or oversized items may have additional charges.
4. International Shipping & Customs
International customers are not charged Canadian taxes but may be responsible for duties, taxes, and customs fees in their country. Shipping rates are based on size, weight, and destination, and shown at checkout.
5. Local Pickup & Sustainability
Free in store pickup is available in Rossland, BC for local customers. We are eco conscious and reuse boxes to reduce waste.

1. Return Eligibility
Regular priced items can be returned within 21 days of receipt and must be unused, unworn, in mint condition, with all original tags and packaging. All sale items are final sale and non refundable.
2. Return Process & Shipping
You must contact Mountain Baby for a Return Authorization Number before sending anything back. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and returns must be sent insured via approved postal services, Canada Post in Canada and USPS from the US.
3. Exchanges
Direct exchanges are not offered. Return your item for a refund and place a new order separately to secure the replacement item.
4. Warranty Support
If a manufacturer defect appears within 30 days, contact Mountain Baby with photos for review. After 30 days, warranty claims must be handled directly with the brand.
5. Important Policies
Customers are responsible for providing correct shipping addresses. Read sizing charts carefully to reduce returns, as children’s items are designed to last and fit with room to grow.
